Friday, June 26, 2009   Hopelessly Behind I think I'm behind on everything right now, so I really should update my blog. You know, rather than work on the $1.5 million grant application for work, or the $60K grant application for Joey's, or preparations for my board meeting Tuesday. :) First things first, I'm moving. I'm staying in Sheridan, of course, but I've found an awesome apartment (about 6 blocks away from where I currently live) that's near the pathway system in town, that has a huge kitchen with a normal-size oven and double stainless-steel sinks and tons of cabinet and counter space, a full-size washer and dryer, and a heater in my room. Sans Liz. I will still have a roommate, but he's a cool dude named Ben. We get along well, have a similar level of cleanliness standards, and he's not Destructo the Magnificent. And in even better news, Baldric will finally be living with Mommy. :) So, yeah, in the midst of the busiest month of the year, I decided to pack up and move stuff. Smart of me. Things with Kurt are still awesome, although it is the busiest month of the year and we haven't gotten to see much of each other as of late. It'll get better, especially when I have this grant application done and the rest of my shit moved to the new place. Grad school is official, too, as they have received my deposit check for the 2009 Fall residency. Gotta get cracking on that. Back to work! posted by jaime | 4:00 PM 0 comments
