Friday, October 07, 2005   Surprised I got the job!!!!!!!!! That's right. I'm the new office manager at Bassett in Frederick (here's the new store) I was and am so surprised that I got the position. I was having an awesome day at work (actually, I was having an awesome lunch with Ian at the deli across the street); I came back from lunch to a note to call the store manager at Bassett. I did and she wanted me to drive over to the store. I braved the pouring rain and drove over to the store to get the good news. No, I did not embarrass myself by doing the happy dance. But only because I was sitting down when I got the news. Yay for the promotion! And yay for Liz Phair concert next week and Homecoming next weekend! And yay in general!
