Wednesday, July 27, 2005   Computer = Fucked Up The Goat's Ass Guava is nearing the end of his life...thanks to my dumbass brother. He managed to download some sort of spyware/virus thing onto my computer, which I have been unable to fix. I had my computer at a somewhat workable point, and he managed to fuck that over. So, I've got very limited function in safe mode. Not enough to make the computer function again, but enough to check email. Apartment hunting is going, well, not that great. Hagerstown is not a very good place to live, it seems. At least not if you want some sort of balcony/yard, hardwood floors, cat priviledges, washer and dryer in the building, good water pressure, and a nice view for $500-$600 a month. I could find what I want for more than that, and I could afford to pay more; however, I just don't think it's worth more money. For Frederick, yes. For Hagerstown, no. It's still a bit further til September, and I'm in no rush to jump into a lease. In other odds and ends news, the job is going most excellently. I get my three month review in September, along with actual health insurance and a hefty discount on furniture. Things with Ian are wonderful. I think I may have found a nice guy. :) My car is full of entertainment center goodness, thanks to Christa shopping her family's yard sale for me. One of my favorite little bands, Emmet Swimming, is playing at the 9:30 club August 26th and tickets are available for $15. Baldric is as cute and hellcatish as ever.
