Wednesday, March 09, 2005   Holly Geez Cod Damn Christa came to visit me at work today. She has rediscovered her Weezer cds, and thus has found a new catch phrase of "Holy Geez God Damn." But that's not what she wrote down for me. I have kept her version for posterity. Or blackmail. :) I was supposed to have a date with Jon tonight after work, but, big surprise--he cancelled. At least I was expecting it. But after he cancelled on me for Atta's party, he waited two weeks to ask me out again. Two weeks. And then he cancels on me. Again. He wants to reschedule to this weekend, but, fuck him. I've got other plans. I'm going bar-ing with http://www.livejournal.com/users/syphilis_jane/ Sarah on Friday. Saturday AM I'm going to an organizational meeting for the Washington County Mediation Center--they're looking for volunteers, free training. It would be a useful skill, look good on a resume, and probably be fun. If not fun, at least I'd get to spend time listening to stupid people and their issues. At least I'll go see what it's all about. Saturday PM or Sunday will probably be spent in Harrisburg, meeting with another dating prospect. Haven't talked about him yet--his name is Yechezkel. I have no idea how to pronouce it, but it's Hebrew for Ezekiel. Talking online and on the phone, he's very positive and fun. Everything is super. He's fluent in Hebrew, which is rad. So, we'll meet up and see what happens. Tonight after work, since my date cancelled, I went out with Barrie. During dinner, my eye started to swell--just the right eye, and just below my eye. I was debating about going to the ER; however, I'd have to drive myself and I wasn't sure if I would be able to drive back. So I put some ice on it, the swelling went down. I can see out of it and it doesn't feel weird, so I'm going to wait and see how things are tomorrow. If it's still not 100%, I'm going to make an appointment with the eye doctor.
