Saturday, February 12, 2005 Paint Spatters If you are in the Hagerstown area and looking for something rad to do, I suggest you stop by Pottery By Me and More on the Dual Highway. Remember when I worked at Subway? It's in that shopping center on the Dual. You go in, pick the pieces that you want to paint, and paint away. It is most fun, and most reasonably priced too. Pieces run from about $5 and up, depending on size. And the studio fee is 1/2 of the piece that you paint--that's for the paints, the firing, etc. I painted a container with a cat on the top--painted it to look like Baldric--and I painted a rice bowl (with the grooves for chopsticks). I had tons of fun. I can't wait to get my pieces back next week. So, yeah, that's where I went with my date with Mike. I had fun, but I had fun because I was painting pottery, not because of him. He's alright. There's no attraction there, and no spark. We're probably going to go out again as friends, if only for him to get the pottery that he painted. Tomorrow will be spent helping Christa move the rest of her stuff to Hagerstown. My dad is going to be helping to get her bed and futon and other furniture to Hagerstown. I'm so excited that she's back in Hagerstown. Easier to call her up and say that something's going on. So hopefully, this will mean more hangout time for everyone. posted by jaime | 8:11 PM 0 comments |
