Tuesday, December 07, 2004   Interview # 2 I had my interview today for the office manager position at a large animal clinic. It went well; I shadow there this Saturday. (What is it with these places wanting me to come in the next day to observe things? I am still employed and still have a responsibility to work at that job, despite not really wanting to.) I'm fairly certain that I have that job too if I want to take it. It pays more than the other clinic (woohoo to a salaried position), I'd have an office, I'd have to work every third Saturday instead of every other Saturday, I'd have vacation and sick time right off the bat. And it's in Hagerstown. But, I really liked the other clinic a lot--and I know that money isn't everything. I'd much rather work somewhere that I love than get paid more money at a job that I hate or I'm not passionate about. I'm going to wait until I shadow at both places, talk to the owners again, and then make my decision. It's not going to be an easy decision, because I know that I'd be happier at either place than at my current job.
