Tuesday, March 02, 2004 Dance Dance! Viva La Revolution! Thanks to Christa and Heather, I'm now addicted to Dance Dance Revolution. Great fun, great way to exercise. Lots of fun. And Brian has more rhythm than I do, which is kind of sad. My inner white girl is a little upset about that. This weekend has been such a whirlwind for me. Heather came down, which was great fun. Part of why there was so much dancing and belly dancing. I'm not good at dancing, but it is so much fun, and if a belly dancing class is offered locally, I'm signing up. But there was also so much other stuff--going to dam #4 and soaking up the sunshine, wandering around Bill's Other Yard Sale, general wanderings through Hagerstown, hanging out. I needed to see Heather as much as she needed to take a break from Michigan life. We both needed to take a break from the ordinary lives, catch up with old friends (Didgeridrew and Amanda, Big Red Tom, Greg and Whit), and just spend time with people that ignite passion. A truly great friend is one who will not only be there for you in any situation, but one that will ignite passion in you. As always, this weekend has been much too short. If we had months to spend together, it'd still be too short of a time together. But I'm glad we had a chance to get together, and I miss her. But there is still dance dance in the apartment, and it is calling to me. :) posted by jaime | 7:24 AM 0 comments |
