Apparently, In Jaime's World, Tomorrow Really Is 4 Days Later

I have a little issue with promptness. And telling time. And I was going to make this update last night, but I'm having issues with my computer staying turned on. Either my power supply or my motherboard is dying, and I must get this fixed. Knowing my luck, both of them are dying.

I don't want to keep anyone waiting, so here's what I've been keeping. I've been talking to a guy named Zack. This is what's been making me so damn giddy the past few days. I met him because, well, one day I got bored and was looking through the personals on Yahoo. Because that's what everyone does when they're bored. But anyway, I saw his ad, and he had a cute picture and made a reference to Fight Club, and I emailed him. And he emailed me back, and we've been talking since. He's a really nifty guy...loves movies, and the same music that I do. He writes (he likes to write screenplays). He's a mechanic. He's really smart and funny and makes me laugh and can put up with me, and I'm a handful and a half. It's nice. We're going to meet on Saturday and go for a little picnic in the park, then go play pool, then who knows...probably watch a movie or two. I'm superexcited, and Brian is tired of hearing me talk about him.

It's probably a good thing that I may start dating a mechanic, after I tell the tale of Tuesday. Tuesday was a busy day at work, and I was so happy when I finally got to leave. I got in my car, put it in gear and went to back out of my parking space when WHAM! I hit Heather's car. I did a number on it. The back bumper of her car is no longer attached on the drivers side. I had to call the insurance company to make a claim so she can get her car fixed. The insurance rep brings her animals to Park Circle and knows both of us and started laughing when I told her what happened. Only the two of us could get into something like this and laugh about it.

I think that's all that's going on in my life right now. I'm going to post this before my computer dies on me again.
