Thursday, June 26, 2003   Updates! Get Your Updates! Okay...finally, Blogger is letting me into my blog again. Sorry 'bout the delay, Audrey. First, and most importantly, there are fresh kittens in the household. Everyone is welcome to stop by and say hi to Hecate and Emma, Baldric's sisters. Hecate is a mostly white cat, with splotches of calico pattern--orange, orange tabby and brown tabby. She's a nut. Very inquisitive, very climby, very cute. Emma, her sister, is a much more subdued brown tabby with a white tummy. She's very calm, quiet, and will probably be a great lap cat. Baldric saw them and flipped out, but now he's just taken to staring at them. Second, calling in sick to work 15 minutes before your shift puts you on everyone's shit list. I didn't do that today, but someone else did. And it wasn't Merry. And they did this during a staff meeting that they couldn't bother to attend, without finding a prior replacement. And she expected me to be able to work and I just couldn't, because I had plans to look at cute little kittens with my roommate. So a plague! A plague on her house! (Well, that's not very effective, considering she's probably already got the plague...or something that's keeping her from working.) Third, and also important. Beth and I have decided that all of our boobage needs to join forces into some sort of Anti-Justice League. The Brestinator, Boobzilla, and DoomBoob shall all unite for the sole purpose of thwarting goodness and tiny shirts and catering to flat-chested skinny girls. We've also decided that we need more t-shirts. So I'm going to work on that. Finally, it's damn hot outside. I'm sorry Joanna, but I must turn off the heater for this planet. It's too damn hot. I took two showers today because by 4 pm, I was a pit o' funky badness. I also took a cold bath as well. With the fan turned on high speed. Felt good, but didn't last nearly long enough.
