Monday, February 17, 2003   Adventures In The Snow! So, it snowed. A lot. Like a metric assload of the stuff. Amazing. And what do we do when there is a blizzard? Go play in it, of course. I gathered up Christa and we went out for a walk, with her wearing her orange flame-retardant pants. And then we decided to dig out our cars. That was a nightmare. I know someone is going to take my parking space. But, I found my car by finding the antennae. It was the only thing sticking up in the snow, other than the tops of the parking meters. I tried to uncover the car, but that took too much effort. So I climbed the snow mountain to the top of my car, jumped on the roof, and scissor kicked snow off of the top of the car. I also managed to make a really big dent in the roof of my car, but that's just one of those funny little things in life. With the top of my car visible, I helped Christa unearth her car, then ran around and made tracks in the snow to find Coconut to take his snow shovel. We then walked back to my car and dug out the left side (I was parked on the right of the street). When I had enough room to back up and get out, I got into the car, put it in gear, and moved away from the wall of snow on the right side. Then I parked it and got out. I should be able to get out tomorrow. I hope. In other news, I have two of Baldric's baby teeth. One is a molar and the other is a canine. They are so cute. posted by jaime | 8:33 PM 0 comments
