Thursday, January 16, 2003   I Am Going To Kill Someone And I'll even tell you who and why. Way back in November...well, not so far back, Home Federal and I had a little disagreement. To recap, I made a deposit on Friday before 2 pm. I then went to work (from 1:20 til almost 9 pm). Home Federal didn't credit my deposit until Tuesday, causing not one, not two, but three overdraft fees. Plus a $3 daily fee for having an overdrawn account. When I went to fight this, they told me that my timecard isn't proof enough that I was elsewhere after 2 pm, and the only proof they accept is a timestamp on their deposit slip, which they won't give. I asked for my account to be closed and they couldn't do that because my account was overdrawn. Now, fast forward to today. I get home after working from 8 am til about 1:30 pm. On the day that I was supposed to have off. After working from 8 am til 9 pm yesterday. I'm not happy. I open the mailbox, and what do I find? A letter from Home Federal. Not another collection attempt form with the pull-tabs. An actual letter. Signed by an actual person. Saying that I owe them $126 and change for these overdraft fees, and that I had better pay by January 23rd or very bad things will happen (they were vague about that part). And that they had closed my account because I was overdrawn. WHAT THE FUCK????????? I've already spoken to one of your Fine Upstanding Cunt Knavish Insincere No-brained Guileful Manangers (hey, you can spell) about this matter. I've sent a letter explaining that this is not valid. I've even told Home Federal to close my account because they are ass-raping bastards and they told me that they couldn't. So, how can they close it now using the same damn excuse they gave me for not being able to close my account? I have no idea. But a copy of this letter is on the way to the FTC, just like everything else that I have. My check confetti is going to be shoved up the ass of the customer service manager who sent me this letter.
